True are His feet - and true become the ones who touch them. True is His worship - and true, the worshipers.
True is the sight of Him - and true, the ones who see. True is His Name - and true, the ones who hold it.
He is True, and what He sustains is true. He is goodness itself, and the giver of goodness. True is His Word - and true, the ones who speak it. True are the ears that drink His praise - and true, the listeners.
To the one who understands, everything becomes true. True, True is He.
Truth passes on through touch, the way electricity flows through a wire.
The pauri runs one current through many pairs. Charan sat sat parsanhaar — True are His feet, and true are those who touch them. The worship is true, and true are the worshipers. The sight of Him is true, and true are those who see. The Name is true, and true are those who hold it in mind. The Word is true, and true are those who speak it. The ears are true, and true are those who listen.
The shape of the lines is the teaching: truth is catching. Touch a live wire and the current flows into you. In the same way, the devotee does not copy Truth from far away. They become true by being connected. Sukhmani said this earlier too: like joins with like.
Then comes a line worth reading slowly: bujhanhaar ka-o sat sabh ho-ay — to the one who understands, all is true. This does not mean pretending everything is fine. It means understanding shows the one True stuff under everything. The world stops looking like a heap of accidents. It becomes something He holds up, moment by moment, as the song just before this one also taught.
