In plain words

Different people have different callings — one seeks wisdom, one studies, one is brave, one serves.

But underneath every good path runs the same road: the One. Whoever sees that secret is truly wise.

People have different gifts and callings — but goodness itself is one road, open to everyone equally.
The deeper layer

The Second Guru lists the different ways people follow — the seeker's path of wisdom, the scholar's study, the warrior's bravery, the servant's service. In the old society these were separate castes, ranked against each other. But the shalok dissolves the ranking with one line: the Way of all is the Way of the One. However different our callings look on the surface, the deepest road under every good life is the same — toward the One. For a child: people can have very different jobs and gifts, but goodness itself is one road, open to everyone equally. Nobody's path is higher; all lead home.

A Question to Sit With

How can people with very different talents all be walking the same 'road' of goodness?
