In plain words

Now I have found this wonderful homeland.

There, dear ones, there is lasting peace and safety — always.

The homeland of lasting peace is real, and it's open to everyone.
The deeper layer

The rahao is Ravidas's joyful announcement: I have found it. Begampura is not just a wish — he says he has actually arrived there. Where? In the presence of the One, in the settled peace of a heart at rest. "Lasting peace and safety" (khair) is what he found — the deep security of belonging to the Beloved, which no worldly hardship can take away. He calls his listeners bhaai — siblings — inviting everyone to this same homeland. It belongs to all.

A Question to Sit With

Where or when do you feel that kind of deep, lasting safety?
