Savaiye in praise of Guru Ram Das, Verse 13 — words sweeter than nectar

ਕੀਆ ਖੇਲੁ ਬਡ ਮੇਲੁ ਤਮਾਸਾ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਭ ਰਚਨਾ ॥

By Guru's Grace, the greatest thing is obtained, and the mind is involved with the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation.

In plain words

You set this play in motion, this great gathering and show. Wonderful Guru, all of it is Your making.

You fill the water, the land, the sky and the world below. Your words are sweeter than nectar.

Brahma and Shiva and all their kind honor You. You are the death of death, the spotless One. I beg of You.

By the Guru's grace, the highest thing is found, and the mind holds fast to the Sangat.

You set this play in motion, this great gathering and show. Wonderful Guru, all of it is Your making.

By the Guru's grace, the mind holds fast to the Sangat.
The deeper layer

The whole world is the Wonderful Guru's play, and by the Guru's grace the mind holds fast to the Sangat.

The One fills jal thal gagan pa-yaal, the water, the land, the sky and the world below. Even Brahma and Shiva honor the One. Kaal kaa kaal means the death of death, the One whom even death answers to.

Gur parsaad means the Guru's grace. Through it the mind is woven into the satsangat, the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One. This verse brings Gayand's thirteen verses to a close.
