**Dh** — down here, up there. Sometimes life feels split into a low place and a high place — the ordinary earth under your feet and the wide sky above. But the One you are looking for lives in both. In the low and in the high, it is the same Oneness dwelling there.
When your soul rises past the small, heavy view and lifts into the wider one, the two stop feeling like enemies. Low and high meet. The split closes. And in that meeting, a deep peace settles over you — the peace of nothing being divided anymore.
The letter Dhadha. ardhahi uradh nibayraa — when the lower (ardh) and the upper (uradh) are settled, everything is resolved. Kabir's teaching: the One manjh basayraa — dwells in the midst of both realms. This is not a literal geography of earth and heaven so much as the two poles the mind lives between — the dense, grasping view and the spacious, open one. When the soul stops clinging to the lower and rises into the higher, the apparent duality dissolves and sukh — peace — is found in their union. The whole Bavan Akhri keeps returning to this: the divisions we see are not final; underneath them is one undivided reality.
When have you felt torn between two very different parts of yourself — and what might it feel like if those two parts made peace?
