In plain words

The message of the One is like an endless, unstruck music playing quietly under everything.

And when your heart grows pure and clear, you finally recognize the shining One.

The deepest message of the One isn't words — it's a quiet endless music, heard by a pure and clear heart.
The deeper layer

The Pause names two beautiful things. First, the sermon of the Lord is the unstruck, endless song — the deepest 'teaching' of the One isn't words at all; it's the anhad, the unstruck melody, a quiet endless music humming under all of reality, heard by a still heart. Second, becoming a swan, one recognizes the Diamond. The 'swan' is the old image for a pure, discerning soul — the swan was believed able to separate milk from water, truth from falsehood. So Kabir is saying: when your heart becomes clear and discerning like a swan, you finally recognize the shining One that was there all along. Purity of heart is what lets you see the Diamond and hear the endless song.

A Question to Sit With

What might you notice if your heart grew very quiet and clear, like still water?
