Spiritual Wealth Isn't Hoarded; It Enriches Everyone

ਸੋ ਸਚੁ ਸਾਹੁ ਜਿਸੁ ਘਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਸੰਚਾਣਾ ॥
so sach saahu jis ghar har Dhan sanchaanaa.
He is the true banker, who gathers the wealth of the Lord within his own home.
ਇਸੁ ਧਨ ਤੇ ਸਭੁ ਜਗੁ ਵਰਸਾਣਾ ॥੩॥
is Dhan tay sabh jag varsaanaa. ||3||
With this wealth, the whole world profits. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

He is the true banker who gathers the One's wealth in his own home —

and with this wealth, the whole world profits.

Real spiritual wealth isn't hoarded — gathered in one heart, it enriches everyone around.
The deeper layer

The "true banker" gathers the wealth "within his own home" (the inner self), and remarkably, "with this wealth, the whole world profits." Spiritual wealth is not hoarded; it enriches everyone around. The awakened soul is a banker whose treasure benefits all who come near (cf. Shabad 39, saving the family).

A Question to Sit With

How can one person's inner richness benefit the people around them?
