Whatever Seems Flawed, a Perfect One Made It

ਪੂਰ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੀ ॥

Perfect is the Creation of the Perfect Lord Master.

bharipur Dhaar rahee sobh jaa kee. ||1|| rahaa-o.
His magnificent greatness is totally all-pervading. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Perfect is the creation of the Perfect Master.

His magnificent greatness fills everything.

Whatever seems flawed, the deepest truth is that a perfect One made it.
The deeper layer

Everything the Perfect One makes is whole and good.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Poor samagree pooray thaakur kee — perfect is what the Perfect Master made. Some things may look broken or wrong to us. But at the deepest level, a perfect Maker made them. And the Maker's greatness fills every corner.

Think of a big puzzle. One piece looks like a strange blob on its own. Put it in its place, and it is part of a beautiful picture. When we trust the Maker, we can trust that the picture is good.

A Question to Sit With

What would change if you trusted that things are, at the deepest level, as they should be?
