The All-pervading Lord has established joys and celebrations.

apunaa kaaraj aap savaari-aa. ||1||
He Himself embellishes His own works. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One who fills everything has set up joy and fun.

He Himself makes His own work beautiful.

The world is a celebration the Maker Himself decorates.
The deeper layer

The world is a celebration, and the One is the one decorating it.

Think of a family getting the house ready for a big festival. Someone hangs the lights. Someone sets out the sweets. Here, the One does all of it. Anad binod bharaypur dhaari-aa — the One who fills everything has set up joy and fun. Apunaa kaaraj aap savaari-aa — the One makes this work beautiful, all by Himself.

So the world is not a gloomy test to get through. It is a party the Maker keeps decorating. This is the goodness of kudrat, the made world. The One lives inside it and makes it lovely.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you see the world looking like something beautifully made for joy?
