I have shaped this mind in the mold of the Guru's Word.
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਸੰਚਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ॥੧॥

Beholding the Blessed Vision of the Guru's Darshan, I have gathered the wealth of the Lord. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I have shaped this mind in the mold of the Guru's Word.

Seeing my Guru, I have gathered the wealth of the One.

Your mind takes the shape of whatever you pour it into — so choose the mold with care.
The deeper layer

The mind is re-formed: "shaped... in the mold of the Guru's Word." Like metal poured into a cast, the mind takes the shape of the Word it is given to. And in that re-forming, "the wealth of the Lord" is gathered.

A Question to Sit With

What are you 'pouring your mind into' most days, and what shape is it taking?
