I am in ecstasy, and all of my sorrows have been dispelled. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The fever has broken through the teaching of the perfect Guru.

I am in joy, and all my sorrows have lifted.

The right teaching breaks the fever of suffering the way rest breaks a real one.
The deeper layer

The Pause names the cure's agent — "the Teachings of the Perfect Guru" — and its effect: "the fever has been broken." The fever of suffering breaks the way a real fever breaks, into relief and "ecstasy." The Guru's teaching is the medicine delivered.

A Question to Sit With

What teaching or truth has 'broken the fever' of a worry for you?
