Whoever has Your support, Master, is never gnawed by anxiety.
Whoever is touched by Your kind mercy is the most fortunate king of all.
With the One's support behind you, anxiety has nothing to gnaw on.
The fruit of the One's support is freedom from anxiety: "one who has Your Support... is not afflicted by anxiety." This is the deep trust of Raag Gauree — worry dissolves when you know you are held. And the one touched by mercy is "the most fortunate king" — true royalty is being graced, not being powerful (cf. Shabad 55, Shabad 112).
A Question to Sit With
