Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Meeting my Beloved Master, all my pains are taken away.

I am saved and carried across in the company of those who hold the Supreme One in their hearts.

You're carried across not alone, but among others who remember.
The deeper layer

The Pause: meeting the Beloved, "all my pains are taken away," and the crossing happens "in the company of those who remember" — the Sangat as the boat. You are carried across not alone but among fellow rememberers.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the fellow travelers who help carry you through?
