Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

How did you escape the treachery of lust, anger, and ego?

The holy ones, the angels and demons of the three qualities, and all the worlds have been plundered by them.

The passions that rob the whole world somehow didn't rob you — how?
The deeper layer

The wonder deepens: "how have you escaped... sexual desire, anger and egotism?" — when these very passions have "plundered" everyone, even "holy beings, angels and demons" of the three qualities, and "all the worlds." To escape what robs the whole cosmos is no small thing; it can only be grace.

A Question to Sit With

What is it that traps nearly everyone, that you'd need real help to escape?
