Real Abundance Is Having Enough to Give Away

The Lord's devotees never run short of anything.

They have plenty to eat, spend, enjoy and give. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The devotees never run short of anything;

they have plenty to eat, to spend, to enjoy, and to give.

Real abundance isn't just having enough to keep — it's having enough to give away.
The deeper layer

The Pause names abundance: the devotees "never run short" — and notably, they have enough "to enjoy and give," not just to keep. Real abundance overflows into generosity. The soul backed by the inexhaustible One can give freely because it never runs dry (cf. Shabad 109).

A Question to Sit With

What do you have enough of to be able to give it freely?
