Joined to the Pure One, You Become Its Likeness

He has no anxiety, so I have no cares.

In plain words

He has no anxiety, so I have no cares. He has no stain, so I have no pollution.

He has no hunger, so I have no thirst. Since He is utterly pure, I have become like Him.

Joined to the pure One, you become a true likeness of it — unanxious, unstained, at rest.
The deeper layer

This one says that joined to the Pure One, you come to look like the One.

The pattern carries on. Naa us soch means "He has no worry," so I have no cares. Naa us layp means "no stain sticks to Him," so none sticks to me. He has no hunger, so I have no thirst.

Then comes the heart of it. Jaa uho nirmal taa ham jachnaa means "since He is pure, I match Him." Nirmal means spotless, clean.

Think of the moon. It has no light of its own. But when it faces the sun, it glows bright and silver. Joining the One is not about vanishing into nothing. It is about becoming a true likeness of the Beloved, calm, clean, and full.

A Question to Sit With

Who have you become more like simply by being close to them?
