Their occupation is the Name; their rest is the singing of the One's praises, the embodiment of bliss.
Friend and enemy are one and the same to them; they know no other than God.
For the Saints, friend and enemy are the same — because they see no one as truly 'other.'
The Saints' "occupation" (their work) is the Name, and their "rest" is praise — both labor and leisure are filled with the One. And their hallmark is equanimity: "friends and enemies are one and the same to them." Having no other than God, they have no one to treat as an enemy (cf. Shabad 69).
