In plain words

All day and night, he bathes in the One; he makes his offerings endlessly; he is the truly wise one.

He never wastes a thing, and again and again he falls at the One's Feet.

The real cleansing bath and offering aren't a daily rite — they're a whole way of living.
The deeper layer

This one says the best way to worship is a whole way of living, not one daily ritual.

Many people take a holy bath and make offerings each day. Guru Arjan turns these inward. The true bath is bathing in the One all day and night. The true offering never stops.

The truly wise person birthaa kaahoo chhodai naahee — lets nothing go to waste, not even a moment. And again and again, he bows at the One's feet.

Think of the difference between brushing your teeth for two minutes and eating well all day. Both matter. But one is a moment, and the other is a way of life. Here, worship becomes the whole day, not just one part of it.

A Question to Sit With

How could an act of worship become something you live all day, not just perform?
