The Order of my Beloved seems so sweet to me.
My Beloved has driven out the rival who stood between us;
He has adorned me, His happy bride, and quieted the burning thirst of my mind.
Once the One drives out the rival that stood between you, the burning thirst is quieted.
The soul-bride finds "the Order of my Husband Lord" sweet (bhana mitha), and the Beloved has "driven out the one who was my rival" — the ego, the duality, that stood between soul and One. With the rival gone, He "decorates" the bride and "quiets the burning thirst." Remove what came between, and the union and peace follow.
