In plain words

A heart filled with light comes to recognize the One who can never be fooled or lost.

Dhanna found the One as his true wealth, and — through good company — became one with it.

An ordinary farmer, through wisdom, love, and good company, found the One as his true wealth — if a farmer, then anyone.
The deeper layer

This one is about a simple farmer who found the One as his true wealth.

Jot samaa-ay samaanee jaa kai — when a heart is filled with the Divine Light, achhlee parabh pehchaani-aa — it recognizes the One who can never be fooled or lost. When your own heart lights up, you finally see the One.

Then Dhanna shares his own good news. Dhannai Dhan paa-i-aa DharneeDhar — Dhanna found the One, the Holder of the Earth, as his wealth. His wealth is not crops or coins. It is the One.

Notice how he got there: mil jan sant samaani-aa — by meeting humble, good people, he became one with the One. Good company helped him home. It is like joining a team of kind friends. Being around them makes you kinder too.

Dhanna joins the other humble Bhagats in this raag as living proof. He was an ordinary working person with no special rank. He simply turned his heart toward the One and found the greatest treasure there is. If a farmer can, then anyone can.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean that a simple farmer's 'wealth' turned out to be the One itself?
