In plain words

O mind, O renunciate, why don't you adore Him?

You dwell in that flimsy chamber, with all the sins of corruption.

Your life is a flimsy, temporary chamber — why fill it with corruption instead of love?
The deeper layer

Your life is like a thin, fragile little room. So fill it with love for the One while you have it.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Man bairaagee ki-o na araaDhay — O mind, you who say you have let go of the world, why don't you love and remember the One?

Kaach kothree means a room made of glass, easily broken. That is the body and this short life. And what do we fill it with? Bikhai kee bi-aaDhay — the sickness of harmful habits. Think of getting a beautiful glass jar for one day only. It would be a shame to fill it with junk. Why not fill it with something precious instead?

A Question to Sit With

What are you filling the brief house of your life with?
