Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My God knows, ahead of time, all things.

Deceived by doubt, you may hide your actions, but in the end you shall have to confess the secrets of your mind.

You can't hide from the One who already knows — so honesty now beats forced confession later.
The deeper layer

The Pause: the One "knows, ahead of time, all things." You cannot hide from the One who already knows — and "in the end you shall have to confess the secrets of your mind." Honest confession now is wiser than forced confession later (cf. Shabad 133, "look within").

A Question to Sit With

What would it be like to live as if nothing were hidden?
