Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

When I behold my God, I pay no attention to any other.

God Himself has adorned servant Nanak; his doubts and fears are dispelled, and he writes the account of the Lord.

Behold the One, and your life itself becomes the record of it — not of yourself.
The deeper layer

Beholding the One, the soul "pays no attention to any other" — single-minded. "God Himself has adorned" the servant (grace, not self-effort, cf. Shabad 98), doubts and fears gone, and now he "writes the account of the Lord" — his very life becomes the record of the Name, the ledger of the One rather than of self.

A Question to Sit With

What does your daily life keep a 'record' of — and what would you want it to record?
