Aasaa, Fifth Mehl:
ਡੋਲਿ ਡੋਲਿ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗ ॥
dol dol mahaa dukh paa-i-aa binaa saaDhoo sang.
He wavers and falters, and suffers such great pain, without the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਖਾਟਿ ਲਾਭੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਇਕ ਰੰਗ ॥੧॥
khaat laabh gobind har ras paarbarahm ik rang. ||1||
The profit of the sublime essence of the Lord of the Universe is obtained, by the Love of the One Supreme Lord God. ||1||

A soul wavers and falters and suffers great pain without the company of the holy.
The profit of the One's sublime essence is gained through love for the Supreme One.
Without good company, the soul wavers and stumbles — it is the steadying ground.
Without the Saadh Sangat, the soul "wavers and falters and suffers." Good company is not optional decoration but the steadying ground; alone, the soul stumbles. And the "profit" of the essence comes "by the Love of the One" — gained in love, in company.
