Having Seen the One, the Soul Sleeps in Peace

santan parsan balihaaree darsan naanak sukh sukh so-inaa. ||3||4||144||
Meeting the Saints, and beholding the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, Nanak is a sacrifice to them; he sleeps in absolute peace. ||3||4||144||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Meeting the Saints and beholding their sight, Nanak is a sacrifice to them;

he sleeps in absolute peace.

Having truly seen the One, the soul sleeps in absolute peace.
The deeper layer

The close: meeting the Saints and their Darshan leaves the soul "a sacrifice to them" and sleeping "in absolute peace." Having seen the One (in all, through the Guru), the soul rests completely — the deepest peace, reaching even into sleep (cf. Shabad 162, no anxiety even in dreams).

A Question to Sit With

What lets you sleep in absolute peace?
