He is the Giver of all beings, the Architect of Destiny; O Nanak, He is contained in each and every heart. ||3||8||148||

He gives to every living being. He shapes the path of every life.
O Nanak, He lives in each and every heart.
The designer of all destinies lives inside every single heart.
This one says the One who shapes every life also lives inside each heart.
Jee-an ko daataa — the Giver of all living beings. Purakh biDhaataa — the One who shapes each life's path. That is huge. And yet ghat ghat aahee — the One is in each and every heart. That is close.
Think of a song a whole stadium is singing together. It fills the entire place, and it is also inside each singer. The One who plans everything and the One who lives in each of us are the same One.
