ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਨੀ ਆਈਐ ਸਰਬ ਫਲ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੨॥
parabh sarnee aa-ee-ai sarab fal paa-ee-ai saglay dukh jaahee. ||2||
Entering God's Sanctuary, all rewards are obtained, and all pains are taken away. ||2||

Come into God's shelter, and every good thing is yours,
and every pain is taken away.
Take refuge, and the rewards come and the pains lift together.
This one says taking shelter in the One brings every good thing and lifts every pain.
Parabh sarnee aa-ee-ai — come into God's shelter (sarnee). Then sarab fal paa-ee-ai — every reward is received. And saglay dukh jaahee — every pain goes away.
The soul does not have to earn the rewards one by one, or fight off each pain one at a time. Taking shelter does both at once. Think of running inside when it starts to rain. You don't need to dodge each raindrop. You just step under the roof.
