Hard to Find, the One Found Answers Everything

ਖੋਜਹਿ ਜਨ ਮੁਨੀ ਹਾਂ ॥

God is the Fulfiller of desires, O my mind. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The silent sages search for Him; God is the Master of all.

It is so hard to find Him in this dark age; He is the Dispeller of distress, the Fulfiller of desires, O my mind.

Hard to find as He is, the One found is the answer to every distress and desire.
The deeper layer

Even "the silent sages search" — He is not easily found, "so difficult to find... in this Dark Age." Yet He is "the Dispeller of distress" and "the Fulfiller of desires." Hard to find, but everything once found: the One the sages strain for is the answer to every distress and desire.

A Question to Sit With

What is worth a long search because finding it answers everything?
