In plain words

You are the Creator, the Cause of causes; I cannot think of any other.

Whatever You do comes to pass; I sleep in peace and poise, my mind grown patient since I fell at God's Door, O my mind.

Trust that whatever the One does comes to pass, and an agitated mind grows patient.
The deeper layer

This is the pause line, the Rahao, the center of the shabad. It says that when we trust what the One does, the mind grows calm and patient.

The One is the Maker, the cause behind everything. Karahi so ho-ee-ai — whatever You do, happens. The singer cannot think of any other.

Because of this trust, sahj sukh so-ee-ai — I sleep in peace and ease. My mind has become patient. Why? Parabh kai dar pa-ay — I fell at God's door.

Think of a kid on a long car ride who keeps asking, "Are we there yet?" Once they trust that the driver knows the way, they curl up and sleep. The restless mind calms down the same way, once it stops fighting the Will. That Will is the Hukam, the flow of existence.

A Question to Sit With

What would grow patient in you if you stopped fighting how things unfold?
