Love That Is Real Doesn't Snap Under Pressure

True Love cannot be broken, O Beloved; throughout the ages, it remains. ||6||

In plain words

Real love, once it's true, doesn't snap or break. It lasts and lasts, through every age, on and on forever.

Love that is truly real doesn't snap under pressure — it's built to last.
The deeper layer

Real love does not break, no matter how long it lasts.

Saachee preet na tut-ee pi-aaray — true love does not break. Jug jug rahee samaa-ay — it stays, age after age.

This is the heart of the second song. Earlier came the hurt of being apart and the joy too big for words. Now comes the comfort the whole song has been building to.

Feelings can change from day to day. But saachee preet, true love, is made of something that does not come apart. Notice the word saachee, true. Not every attachment lasts. But love that is real has lasting built into it. Like the knot on a good pair of shoes, it holds when you run. The truest bonds are the ones that do not break.

A Question to Sit With

What is a bond in your life that you're sure will never break?
