In plain words

But here's the wonderful part: keep good company, and you're transformed by it.

Like plain iron touching a magic stone and turning to gold, a heart changes in the presence of goodness.

You become like the company you keep — sit near goodness, and it quietly turns you golden, like iron to gold.
The deeper layer

After all the talk of where not to cast your pearls, Kabir turns to the positive, and it's radiant: in the Sat Sangat (good company) discriminating understanding is attained — and then the beautiful old image, the iron that touches the Philosopher's Stone becomes gold. Just as plain iron was believed to turn to gold at the touch of a magic stone, a heart is transformed by keeping good company. You become like those you spend time with; sit near the wise and the kind, and their goodness quietly turns you golden. This is where a child should put their energy — not into arguing with mockers, but into keeping company that changes them for the better. You don't have to force your own transformation; the right company does it, like a magic touch.

A Question to Sit With

Who is the 'good company' that quietly makes you a better, kinder person just by being around them?
