In plain words

Imagine the son being born before his own mother!

Imagine a teacher bowing at the student's feet!

Some deep truths turn the ordinary world upside down — enjoy the puzzle rather than rushing to 'solve' it.
The deeper layer

This one is a playful puzzle poem that flips the world upside down.

Kabir loves this kind of poem. He lists impossible things that turn the normal order around. The son is born before his mother. The teacher bows at the student's feet. Everything is turned right around.

Like his other riddle poems, these are not nonsense for fun. They point to the amazing flips that happen inside a heart when it wakes up to the One. The usual rules turn over. The proud become humble. The last become first.

Kabir invites wonder and puzzling on purpose. Think of an optical illusion. You do not solve it like a math problem. You look, and it stretches what you thought was possible. Enjoy the mystery.

A Question to Sit With

What's a surprising 'upside-down' truth you've noticed — where the usual way of things gets flipped?
