In plain words

Blessed is the heart that becomes dear to the One it loves.

Kabir says: such a heart comes fully home, and never has to wander lost again.

Keep longing and making your heart ready — the meeting you're waiting for does come, and then you're home for good.
The deeper layer

Kabir closes with the hope the whole shabad was leading toward: blessed is the soul-bride who is pleasing to her Husband Lord — the heart that, through its longing and preparing and softening, becomes dear to the One and finally meets it. And the promise: she shall not have to wander again — she comes fully home, the restless searching over at last. So the difficulty of union isn't the end of the story; it's the precious middle of it. The longing bride who keeps making herself ready, who feels her smallness with awe, who trusts even while waiting — that heart does, in the end, become dear to the One and comes home. For a child, it's deeply reassuring: keep longing, keep making your heart ready, and the meeting you're waiting for does come, and it lasts.

A Question to Sit With

What's worth patiently making your heart 'ready' for, even while you wait?
