Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Blessed is the soul who has found the One as her Beloved.
Soaked in the One, she reflects on the Word; she saves herself, and her family and friends as well.
She serves the True Guru and dwells on the heart of what is real.
When one soul truly awakens, it lifts the whole family around it.
The soul-bride returns, and her transformation overflows: "she saves herself, and saves her family and friends as well." Realization is not private — the awakened soul lifts those around her (cf. Japji's Pauri 15, the liberation that uplifts everyone). The householder's awakening blesses the household.
