In plain words

The real servant is the one who, turned toward the Guru, becomes glad to serve the One.

The One who made the universe will also fold it away.

Without the One, there is simply no other.

The truest servant isn't the lowest in rank — it's the one whose heart is glad to serve.
The deeper layer

This one says the truest servant is the one who is glad to serve.

Sayvak daas bhagat jan so-ee — that person alone is a real servant and devotee. What makes someone a true servant isn't a title. It is which way they face. Thaakur kaa daas gurmukh ho-ee — the one who faces the Guru becomes the servant of the Master.

Think of a kid who helps set the table because they love their family, not because they were told to. That gladness is the difference.

And who is served? Jin sir saajee tin fun go-ee — the One who made the world will also fold it away. Tis bin doojaa avar na ko-ee — without Him, there is no other at all. Serving such a One is not being small. It is lining up with the only reality there is.

A Question to Sit With

What is the difference between serving because you must and serving because you want to?
