In plain words

Having won the treasure of this human birth, I meditate on the Name.

By the Guru's grace I understand, and I melt into the True One.

This human life is a treasure — and the best use of it is to turn toward what's real.
The deeper layer

Human life is named "the treasure of this human birth" — the rare, precious opportunity (cf. Shabad 76, the prize). And the right use of the treasure is to meditate; the understanding that follows is "by Guru's Grace," not by cleverness. The opportunity is given; so is the understanding that lets you use it.

A Question to Sit With

If your life is a rare treasure, how do you most want to spend it?
