In plain words

She is the noblest of the whole family.

She counsels and steadies hope and craving.

How blessed the household where she has appeared! Says Nanak: she lives out her days in perfect peace.

An awakened soul becomes the wise, steadying head of its own inner household.
The deeper layer

This one shows an awake soul running its own inner home well.

The bride is now the noblest in the whole family. She counsels and guides hope and desire, the once-unruly members of her home. Think of a calm team captain who helps the loud, restless players settle down and play together.

This is mastery, not pushing feelings down. The awake soul leads its inner family wisely. And the whole household lives in perfect peace.

A Question to Sit With

What in you needs steadying guidance rather than harsh control?
