Hope and desire (my younger brother-in-law and sister-in-law) are now totally content. ||3||

In plain words

She is blessed with every fine quality, and her line is unstained.

Her Beloved fulfills her heart's wishes.

Now even hope and craving have grown content.

When the soul finds what it truly wants, even its restless wants grow content.
The deeper layer

This one says that when the soul finds what it wants, its wants grow quiet.

Once the bride is home, all her good qualities bloom. Even her family line is spotless. Her Beloved fulfills her heart's wishes.

Then something surprising happens. Hope and desire become fully content. In the poem they are her younger in-laws. In Shabad 93, these same in-laws were troubling her. Now they are at peace.

The wants are not destroyed. They are satisfied and settled. Think of a child who keeps asking for snacks, then sits down to a full dinner. The asking stops, because the real hunger is met. The soul has found what all its wants were reaching for.

A Question to Sit With

Have you noticed your nagging wants go quiet when your heart is genuinely full?
