My married life looks so beautiful now; my Beloved has met me, and He sees all my pain.
In the courtyard of my heart, a moon shines.
Night and day, I delight in my Beloved.
When you are fully known and still cherished, a gentle light comes on inside.
Union transforms everything: the soul's "married life" is now beautiful, and the Beloved "sees all my pains" — fully known, nothing hidden. A moon shines in the courtyard of the heart — a cool, gentle inner light. The relationship is constant joy, "night and day" (cf. Shabad 51, the welcomed bride).
A Question to Sit With
What does it feel like to be completely known by someone and loved anyway?
