Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Those who meditate on You are rich.

Those who find You have great wealth.

Those who serve You live in peace.

Nanak says: I take shelter with the saints.

The greatest wealth is a heart that holds the One.
The deeper layer

Keeping the One in mind is the wealth that lasts, and serving the One brings peace.

jin too dhiaaiaa say ganee / jin too paaiaa say dhanee — those who hold the One are rich. sant saran — taking shelter with the saints.

A Question to Sit With

Who is someone you know who seems rich in ways that have nothing to do with money?
