In plain words

Why have you wandered off, lost, caught up in what is false and in greed?

Nothing is spoiled yet. There is still time — wake up!

No matter how far you've wandered, it is never too late to turn back.
The deeper layer

Nothing is lost yet, and there is still time to wake up.

This is the rahaa-o, the pause line, the center of the shabad, full of hope. Kahaa bhooli-o ray jhoothay lobh laag means why are you lost, caught up in what is false and in greed? Lobh means greed, always wanting more.

Then comes the kind part. Kachh bigri-o naahin ajahu jaag means nothing is spoiled yet; wake up, even now. Think of a video game where you can hit "restart" at any moment. Wandering off does not ruin everything. You can turn back today.

A Question to Sit With

When has it felt good to get a fresh start after wandering off track?
