Namdev says: O One, You spread through every single thing.
Please be kind to the one who loves You.
The One who fills everything is close enough to be kind to you.
The One who fills everything is close enough to be asked for kindness.
Bhanat naamday-o ram rahi-aa: Namdev says, You fill everything. The One is everywhere, in every single thing.
Then Namdev asks for one thing. Apnay bhagat par kar da-i-aa — please be kind to Your devotee, the one who loves You. Think of sunshine that falls on the whole garden, and a little seedling leaning toward it. Namdev asks for a share of that same warmth.
