Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Everything rests in the One's care — the true, gentle King of all.
Those who love the One trust it completely, with whole and steady hearts.
Remembering is like a nourishing meal they never go hungry after.
Every good thing is found there, and the good ones are so dear to the One.
After the two hard shaloks, the Vaar returns to serene trust. "Everything is in Your power; You are the True King." The devotees have poorai bhaag — "perfect faith," whole-hearted trust. The nourishment image returns: the Name is "ambrosial food; His servants eat their fill" — a remembering heart is never left hungry. "All treasures are obtained" — everything worth having is found in that turning-toward-the-good. The One is "unapproachable and unfathomable," yet the Saints are "very dear" to it — vast and tender together, the Vaar's constant chord. For a child: everything is held in caring hands, and a heart full of good is never left hungry.
What 'feeds' you so well on the inside that you never feel empty?
