I have made the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, my necklace; my mind tinged with devotion is the intricate ornament of crowning glory.

I have spread out my bed of faith in the Lord, Har, Har. I cannot abandon Him - my mind is filled with such a great love for Him. ||6||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
I have made the Name my necklace, and a heart full of love is my finest jewel.
I have spread out a bed of trust, and I could never leave the One -- my heart is simply too full of love.
*Love worn on the heart is the finest jewelry there is.*
har har haar kanth -- the Name worn as a necklace; man moteechoor -- devotion as the crowning jewel. sardhaa sayj vichhaa-ee -- a bed of trust spread out. Inward devotion pictured as the truest finery.
A Question to Sit With
If you could 'wear' one good quality like jewelry, what would it be?
