I met the Fascinating Lord, who has blessed me with all comforts; He does not leave me to go anywhere else.

I have seen the mortals of many and various types, but they are not equal to even a hair of my Beloved. ||1||

In plain words

I met the enchanting One who has given me every comfort; it never leaves me to go elsewhere.

I have seen people of every kind, but not one of them equals even a hair of my Beloved.

When you've truly found what satisfies you, you stop restlessly comparing and wanting other things — nothing else measures up, so the coveting just goes quiet.
The deeper layer

The devotee's love makes him wonderfully un-impressed by everything else: "not equal to even a hair of my Beloved." This is the delightful exaggeration of someone in love — no one and nothing measures up to the beloved. But underneath the sweetness is a real teaching: when you have found what truly satisfies, the endless comparing and coveting stops. You are no longer shopping among lesser goods, because you've stopped needing them. The whole restless project of finding something better goes quiet. There is nothing to envy in others when what you have is beyond comparison.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever loved something so much that other options just stopped tempting you?
