In plain words

Watch the dance: women and men, all of us, dancing together — and there is nothing and no one here that is not the One.

Do not argue about it, do not tie yourself in doubtful knots. Just hear what the One says, plainly: 'This whole creation and I — we are one and the same.'

Women and men, all of us — one dance, one Oneness, no exceptions.
The deeper layer

Everyone is in the dance, and the dance and the Dancer are one.

Naachantee gopee jannaa — women, gopee, and men, jannaa, dance alike. Everyone is part of the one dance, whoever they are. Girls and boys, women and men, all have an equal place in it.

Tarak na chaa, bharmee-aa chaa — no arguing, tarak, and no doubting, bharam. Think of a family dancing at a wedding. Nobody stops to debate whether they belong on the floor.

Then comes the heart of the shabad: ayk aan. The One says, "This creation and I are one and the same." The Maker is inside every part of the world, like the music inside every step.

A Question to Sit With

What changes when you see everyone around you as part of the same one?
