In plain words

It is simply Your nature to lift up whoever has fallen and make them clean again. You do not wait to be asked — it is just who You are.

And how lucky, how blessed, are the quiet-hearted people who keep You in their thoughts. They have found the best thing there is.

It is simply the One's nature to lift up whoever has fallen.
The deeper layer

It is simply the One's nature to lift up whoever has fallen.

Patit paavan maaDha-o birad tayraa: making the patit, the fallen, paavan, clean and whole again, is Your birad, Your very nature, dear Lord. Think of a friend who helps you up when you trip on the playground. They do it without being asked, because that is who they are.

Dhan tay vai mun jan jin Dhi-aa-i-o har parabh mayraa: blessed are the quiet, humble people who keep my Lord in their thoughts.

A Question to Sit With

What does it tell you that mercy is described as someone's nature, not a favor they grant?
