The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is incomparable and priceless; it is the treasure of Ambrosial Nectar.

The Saints abide in peace, poise and bliss; O Nanak, through the Guru, this is known. ||4||6||

In plain words

The Name of the One is beyond compare and beyond price — a treasure of pure sweetness.

Those who hold it live in peace, ease, and joy; through the Teacher, this is how it becomes known.

The one thing that fills the heart is the one thing money cannot buy.
The deeper layer

Only the Name is the treasure that fills you for good.

Here the shabad turns at last. Har har naam apaar amolaa — the Name of the One is beyond compare and beyond price. It is the one thing that really is.

Wealth left the kings thirsty. The Name leaves the santan, the good-hearted, in sookh sahj aanand — peace, ease, and joy. Think back to the fire that more wood could never fill. Here, at last, is the fullness it could never reach.

A Question to Sit With

What has made you feel full and content, without needing anything more?
