Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The Maker of everything has become my guard — the One whose vastness has no end and no far edge.

The One keeps His people safe, and ill will is simply turned away, undone by itself.

The One who made everything is big enough to keep you safe.
The deeper layer

The Maker of everything has become my guard, and nothing is bigger than that.

Karanhaar rakhvaalaa ho-aa — the Creator has become my protector. Why does that matter? Because of jaa kaa ant na paaraavaar: the One has no end and no far shore. Think of a guard so big that the whole ocean fits inside.

The last line says unkind people are driven out. The meaning is that ill will comes to nothing. The weight of the line stays on being kept safe, not on getting back at anyone.

A Question to Sit With

What makes you feel protected — not just guarded, but held?
