Only those who lovingly tune in to the Naam are rich. The perfect Guru reveals this treasure, and by grace it comes to live in the mind.
Then faults fall away and the heart fills with good. In the Guru's natural ease, the true Word of Bani brings peace, and a settled calm soaks all the way in.
The rich are the ones tuned to the Name.
This part holds the Rahao, the "pause" line and center of the shabad, together with the second verse. The pause line says say Dhanvant har naam liv laa-ay — they alone are rich who lovingly tune in to the Name. Think of a radio app locked onto your favorite station. Being tuned in is what makes the music come through.
The verse then shows what follows. Avgun kaat gun ridai samaa-ay — faults are cut away, and good qualities fill the heart. This happens sahj subhaa-ay, naturally, with ease. Sukh man antar sahj samaanee — peace and Sahaj, calm that takes no effort, soak in deep.
What is something you feel calm and happy just paying attention to?
